Infloor heating rough in cost

I have in floor heating in my garage and cant imagine not having it.

My daughter is having a house built and I told her to have the rough in done, it can always be hooked up later but the rough in is a one time chance.

Before she gets that far in her negotiations, anyone have a ballpark figure on the rough in cost for the tubing?

Agreed should totally be done before they pour!

Depending on their skill set, I would suggest doing it themselves. The material is pennies per foot, and easily ran. There are better experts here than me who could into detail on loop spacing and zone configuration.

This is interesting and has my curiosity going as I would think the rough in would be quite a bit of money. I would think the insulation would be 1500 to 2000, 1000 to 1500 for tubing and 1000- 2000 for labour. It's a guess but 3500 to 5500 for 24 by 24 garage for the pad "plumbing". A bit extra work for excavating guy and concrete guy too. Looking forward to someone posting with actual experience.

$6.00-$7.00/sq.ft would be as cheap as you would find it for the plumbing install. Engineered drawings required as well.
