How many times have you seen McDavid come in slow at anything he does? I love my Toews and Kane but jeez. We haven't come close to seeing the best McDavid and Draisaitl can do yet. That's scary.

Mcdavid typically starts off slow. His second half of the seasons trumps first half’s.
And yes we haven’t seen their potential yet.
Pretty sure if they had a stud dman quarterbacking the pp you could add another 10-15 points for their season.

Maybe they should make a new series. Covid Cup 🏆🏆Winners wil be first in line Bill gates vaccinations. Which Allow them to go anywhere, with tracking.

^^^ This is the only really sensible option. Who wants to see a subpar post season and a delayed start to the next one? Just call it a wash and start fresh in the fall.

Colorado was my other consideration, given that all their injured players should be healed up by now.
Of all the teams, I think Boston will do a better job of picking up where they left off.

I wouldnt mind seeing the playoffs happen. I would watch it.
But wouldnt surprise me if it gets cancelled. And it wouldnt surprise me if next season gets cancelled too.
I really miss hockey!
Plus it would cut down on my AO time and reading all the cranky, whiney posts on here.
I really miss the old AO!

Some folks are just jealous of anyone that earns more $$ than they do.
As bizarre as the concept is, anyone who doesnt want hockey back and the season decided isnt a real hockey fan.

That’s laughable. I can tell you where I was when Gretz potted the fifth goal on the open net for 50 in 39 against the Flyers, or when Gretz passed back to Lemieux with Hawerchuk on the line for the 84 Canada Cup.... I watched the Punch-up in Piestany in 87 intently, as well as Rendevouz 87. I can tell you where guys like Stan Wier or Lee Fogolin were born, who was the last player in the league to not where a helmet (that’s easy lol) and tons of other useless NHL trivia... lol
I still get chills and emotional when the Stanley Cup is brought out for any of the teams because there is always a player on a team that I am happy for that gets to have their name on it. People that know me can vouch for my knowledge of the game both past and present. Hell i have the Rockets autograph in my collection as well as other hockey notables. But to call me not a fan because I don’t agree with this season they want to put together which will have a huge asterisk by it in my book is wrong...
Anyway what I’m getting at is I’m a huge hockey fan but not a fan of what they are trying to accomplish this year. No fans, no road trips in between games and with the huge momentum break will be a passionless playoff but it’s not about the fans it’s about completing their contractual TV obligations nothing more and nothing less.
I’m a huge MMA fan as well and have watched a few of the UFC fights without fans and it sure is a different show without the fans in the stands that’s for sure. Very lacklustre to say the least. But I get it some folks are clamouring for hockey even if it will be without fans in the stands and in the middle of the summer months. Not everyone is though. Raising the cup after a hard fought final series with a couple coaches and trainers golf clapping for the players will be as lame as it gets...
