Default What Fish Is This?

Caught this fish in the Columbia River at Fairmont and am unsure of it's species. I am pretty sure this is not a Squaw, as I have caught many. I have been looking everywhere for an answer and have yet to have one. Thanks

Is that not a Rocky Mountain Whitefish?

The Rocky had the adipose fin, while the "mystery fish" did not...

Good catch with the adipose fin.

Could it be the 'look-alike' of the Squawfish, the Peamouth (Mylocheilus caurinus)?

It has the mouth of a lake whitefish but the lack of an adipose fin kind of rules that out?

Here is a Squaw, again, caught in the same place, using same gear, and same day.

Default Thanks!

Thanks guys! I think I am able to conclude that this fish is a Peamouth Chub
also known as Mylcheilus caurinus. Thanks for the help

In Best Regards,
