The Absolute Best Jig
I'm hoping to get some new insight as to the absolute best Jig for walleye and Lakers. At the moment I have a bondie bait and white tube jigs for lakers, conversely 1/8- 1/4 once jig heads with pink and white double tailed bodys. Now Id greatly appreciate if any one could enlighten me if something other then those works/exists? Thoughts?

Fireball w/ owner stingers.
I've caught Walleye, Trout, Pike, Burbot, and Perch using Fireball jigs.

There isnt one(absolute best).
But there are lots of good ones.
Have had good success with cabelas branded roundheads, knuckle ball, fireball, slowpoke and many others for walleye.

The absolute best is the one from your box that they are biting on today which could be different from the one yesterday , and hour ago, an hour from now or 100 yards north.
There is no such thing as the absolute best forever on any lake

There are a few "go to" favorites ......
Lakers - White tube jig with or without a stinger or a buzz bomb
Walleye - Triangular head with a silver leaf or simple standard jig head - colour tends to be mood related but I like black or white best.

I love the Northland eyeball jigs. The gold ones work for me. 1/4 oz with a white Berkeley power grub can be killer on walleye. This combination is also one of my goto baits for smallies later in the summer when they are hugging bottom. Super sharp Matzuo hooks. Love em!

The absolute best jig is the one they are hitting on right at that moment.
