Default metal - where to buy ?

I'm north of Edmonton.
I Googled & found the metal supermarket - they had/have only .125 wall : too thick.

I'm looking for 2" x 3" x .083 (ish) (for sub frames)

For a good price. Need two 10' pieces.

Thanks

I don't think you'll find it. As said, 1/8" would be the thinnest for that size.
Square you might find .065", but probably not bigger than 1-1/2".
Either way, Russel or CW Carry would be your best bet unless you need less than 3'.

he'll tell me if i can get a better deal somewhere else. it's seldom that his prices aren't inline with the "big guys" but even if it costs a bit more i'll order it from him.

really good guy and the kind of business you want to support

Its not local, but On-Line Metals will likely have exactly what your looking for, ship it to your door, and be somewhat competitive. I can send you a code to get 15%-25% off if you're interested.

I've had good luck with general recycling. There prices are half of the metal supermarket.

Metal has to be rust free. Clean, straight as well.

Reliable Tube will have it. And they're 10X better to deal with than the drooling losers at General.

They didn't have it.

For a number of reasons I wanted 3" x 2" x .100 wall for the section from the OEM rails to the area where the new spring mounts will be, then up to trunk level. No one had it.
I can make the 3" x 1.5" work. Lighter anyway......
