I would think Hitch still has credit at United Cycle.

Ouch, so Klefbom, Russell, and Sekera all out. That is arguably three of the Oiler's top four. So it's Nurse, Larsson, Benning, Gravel, Garrison, and Wideman left? It will be impressive if they can pull out a win given the situation.

I'm liking Hitch and not just because he is winning. If anyone missed his interview after the Colorado game, look it up. Basically he says that both teams defense is not good enough to contain the likes of McDavid and MacKinnon. And he knew that before the game and they played a much looser style, almost classic Oilers. Tonight game will be like facing Calgary, strong defense with the ability to somewhat contain McDavid. Oilers forwards are going to need to be strong on the defensive side of the puck tonight. And if the Oilers want a chance to win tonight I predicted a boring low scoring game Hitch style.

I've had the privilege of playing in a few charity tournaments with Hullie (Brett Hull) over the years. We've always picked him first in the draft for our team along with a few others. He does a great, whiney impression of Hitchcock. Then again, Hull was never known for toeing the line with coaches. Heck of a funny guy with a lot of stories though. He does admit Hitch was a great coach though.

I bet you're right on the money with this. No cheating for offense will be seen by our forwards tonight. It'd be awesome if we could even slip this one into OT.

Laine, Wheeler, Scheifele, Connor, Ehlers, Tanev, Perreault...yup, I'd say playing some defense would be in order. Good luck.

Several years ago I was out with some friends in Calgary and a guy that played with Hull and Chelios in Detroit was there (wish I could remember his name). After a few too many and late into the evening we got to hear some crazy stories.

It was a good time.

What were the list of excuses you came up with after the BOA.?
I’m trying to get some lined up for tonight just in case we lose.

We won the BOA on Sunday, no excuses here. If you are accusing me of being a Flames fan then I might put you on the ignore list as well.

They should charge Benning admission, he has the best seat in the house to stand there and watch the goals being scored

Have you been drinking any of Bessie's RC lately? It sounds like he might be spiking it.

Is McJesus using his magic hockey stick tonight?
