Default Awesome Mountain Hunt Deal

I went on a hunting trip to Kyrgyzstan with four other gentlemen from Alberta last year. We were successful in getting 4 Mid Asian Ibex ranging from 40 - 51" and 3 Marco Polo with the largest being 52". The Outfitter contacted me and has tags available for 2020. If you were ever interested in doing this type of hunt, there is no middle man and you won't beat these prices. DM for details if you are interested.

5500 for Ibex and 25500 USD for Marco/Ibex combo. We literally seen 100s of animals every day. Great people and one hell of a hunt.

What are the other costs that go into this trip if one goes for an ibex? Permits, taxes, etc? Trophy shipping? So $5,500 is the price of the hunt and becomes? $7,500? $8,000? Flights? Tips? What its the true/total cost that one has to budget for? Thanks. I've always been interested in the ibex hunt.

We brought our trophy’s home with us. Extra baggage was like 200 usd. Flight is what it is think I paid 3000 with having to reschedule on way back. 10 K would be a realistic price for the Ibex all in.

$10,000 for a cool Ibex seems like a steal.
I saw that caribou was over $11,000 and you still had to get there.

What was the typical distance that you hunted from. Was the terrain hard to move or was it pretty reasonable to make positions. How close are you able to get before they spot you and run off. Those ibex look way heavier bodied than i thought they would be.

No trees at all so basically stalk using contour of the land or from behind if possible. Lots of time bed the animals down and try get in close and stalk when they move. They make the horses work for a living. We were there in beginning of November lots of snow and cold. Biggest thing was lack of oxygen at the altitude your hunting.Extreme horse riding to say the least. Toughest people and animals I have ever seen.Got in closer to the ibex. 2 to 300 meters. Marco were harder to stalk 4 to 700.
