Default Hooter’s 2018 Dall Sheep Back from Dakota Taxidermy

Hi all,

Just wanted to post a few pictures of the dall sheep I harvested last fall on a trip to Nahanni Butte Outfitters in the NWT with Jim and Clay Lancaster. Brian Kadrmas from Dakota Taxidermy did this amazing mount for me. I left everything up to him and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. Brian’s attention to detail in the mount and the habitat is second to none. Enjoy the pics.

(If I can find some time I’ll try to write up the amazing hunt I went on with my father last year. It’s truly something I’ll never forget).

Thanks for the compliment. There was some extra paperwork and cost associated with the mount because we had to ship across the border and back, but let’s just say $1000 didn’t even cover the habitat base.....

I wasn’t worried about the cost because this was a once in a lifetime hunt, and I didn’t want to regret cheaping out, so I didn’t. 😉
