Coyotes are usually in early prime by October 15. Full prime Nov.-Jan. Rubbing, breeding and losing prime by feb.

Squirrels are in early prime in November. Full Prime Dec & late prime in Jan.

the last few beavers i've taken all had 95% cream leather. 2 weeks ago, not as good.

yesterday, broke out the foxpro and shot 5 coyotes. the 3 i've processed so far had cream leather and the fur was good. hope i get 5 more today!love the .204

daylight hours dictate fur primeness, not the weather. although you couldn't ask for better weather, currently.

Not enough T.W. But if you skin and stretch them I'll let you know where to drop them off and I'm sure that nice trapper will buy you some more .243 WSSM shells

Beaver in central and nothern Alberta are in full prime December to early January. After January the guard hairs will be showing signs of 'singe'.
