Default pinehurst has winter killed?

A couple friends said Pinehurst has winter killed and the bottom is covered in dead fish?This info came from a stupid facebook post I guess so who knoes?

This is just fake news. Disregard and move on. Not a chance. It was a super late freeze up and only early February. As far as I'm concerned pinehurst has never winterkilled that I know of.

Haha not a chance, pinehurst is pretty deep and with the little snow cover in the area so far this year the oxygen levels should be doing fine.

Actually I'm not on FB,its for teens I think but we had company last night and buddies wife said she seen it on there.I was there but I do not own a camera so I didnt look obviously.I can tell you the fishing was brutally slow which I think was because the high pressure system.I moved to 4 known locations and only iced 2 fish.There is a large ice heave almost right across so I was unable to access my honey holes.There huge sheets of broken ice piled up near the campground,this also rises another question,are they expanding the campsite area? There are brush piles along the waters edge and a packer parked at the enterance.
