Default Trapping pigeons in Edmonton area.

I need 3 or 4 pigeons for some dog training. Back in the olden days I used to go in the tunnel across the street from the remand center with my fishing net and a flashlight. Now that is no longer possible

How are you dog fellas sourcing your pigeons nowadays? I'm all ears!

If anyone has some you are able to sell or maybe even a pigeon trap that is collecting dust, shoot me a pm.

Default Prairie Vista NAVHDA has some

If you get homers and you don't shoot them they will keep coming back.

Bridges can be pigeon roosts in the city. Try looking under the bridges at night. Otherwise, take a drive south of the city and find an old barn. Get permission and go back at night.

I used to buy my birds from the hutterites then I built a loft and started raising homers. I let them nest and the next thing I knew I had more birds than I needed. So many I could not give them away fast enough and a whole bunch kept coming back. If I had to do it again, I would buy as I go.

If I was on AO at the time I was overloaded I would have delivered to get rid of them.
