A gorgeous rifle just went up on the buy and sell
I have never done this before, but a member, who I have never conversed with, replied to a post, or met has just put up an absolutely beautiful hunting rifle. It is a Kimber Classic Select in 7mm-08. I have had about a dozen Kimbers and all shot really well. I have only had one Classic Select, a 270 WSM that I should never have sold. If I didn't just buy my son a Christensen last week, I would absolutely snap this one up. It is a very fair price on a gorgeous rifle. If you have ever thought of getting a Kimber, this is one to jump at. It is a hard to come by model, and a hard to come by cartridge.

I had a 270wsm classic select too. That thing was a tack driver. Traded it in on a Nula, but still miss it. (Nula is gone now too)
Ended up picking up a 308 classic select, and definitely enjoy the trimmer action and stock on the 84m. Also grabbed a Caprivi in 375H&H from cgn, and that is a beautiful rifle.
Kimber is right near the top of factory rifles for me. Love em.

If I didn't already have its twin I'd snag it. 7-08 Kimbers don't come up that often.

That is a beauty, in my favorite cartridge....but already have a limited edition Boone & Crockett Model 700 chambered for it. If that had been a .338 Federal, I would have had to have it...
That particular itch hasn't been scratched yet.

Any time you have a moderating question, please send us a pm, and we will be happy to answer if we can. To your question, I believe in years gone by, there was a time limit as to when you could access the buy and sell section. In recent times, with the rise of online scammers, to protect members, they changed requisites to also include a minimum number of posts. That allows us to see people actually contribute as outdoorsmen, and to see their skill in English, as many of the scammers are overseas, and I hate to to say it, but Quebec too. Now, they have to show meaningful posts, plus the time requirement. Also, one word posts do not cut it, and we try and short circuit those kind of guys too. It is still far from perfect, and as always it is buyer beware, but we are doing all we realistically can. Hope that answers your question.

I bet you would be favorably impressed. Ergonomic perfection, lightweight, and classic looks. Outstanding triggers too.

^ Was posted yesterday it appears.
Wish I saw the post earlier. Would be a perfect fit to replace my BLR in 7-08 (I have quite a few boxes of ammo too).

I’m running the same 2.5-8 on my Montana. This little gem is getting an FX-II 6x with LRD reticle instead of the Montanas duplex. Both bought off here.

A few years ago my dad bought a Super America in .308, while sighting it in on the 5th shot the ebony forend tip fell off, like dropped on the table. Called Kimber assuming they wanted it sent back and they said glue it with Gorilla glue... which we did and it's been fine since but was a bit surprised that was the response we got. I suppose every gun through the production line isn't perfect but that kind of turned me off Kimber. It sure is good to look at though!

^ You are right, my fault. It is a little different. Sorry. I didn’t pay enough attention because not really interested in that caliber.

The 8400 series needs a stock change to feel as svelte in the hand as the rest of the kimber lineup. The 84m and 84l are pure nirvana from the factory.

I am a Kimber Montana fan. I do not care for the long action 8400, but love my 8400 WSM in 300WSM.
I have a 84M in 6.5 Creedmoor and one in 223 that is being converted to 17 Remington.
Also have a 84M Varmint 22-250in a Wildcat stock. Love them all. Best rifles for my tastes.
