I'd agree with those #s but subtract 4". The stuff on top really isn't that good. And I put a foot through on the canal from the marina, so I wouldn't try driving on it.

Fishing partner hooked a 9 1/2 pounder in the middle of the back on Sunday. Stripped jacket and sweaters off, up to my arm pit down the hole, finnally managed to work my fingers along her back into her gill plate and get get her out. A good 7-10 minute ordeal. Id say by the length of my arm 22" of ice.
