A beauty! I have the disease also, waiting on barrel, reamer and go gauge currently. 7 lb or less all up chassis build coming up and built for hunting to boot. May be awhile before I can do a similar post.👍

Apparently she seems to like the hornady precision hunter 143g was shooting factory consistantly into the .3s, cant wait to see what she does with hand loads. That is the second 26” creed i have built that absolutely loves that ammo!

Have you tried that cheap Federal non-typical 140gr stuff? $24 a box and my rifle loves it

Nice looking. But a carbon barrel would have even been sweeter.

7lbs with a chassis. Which chassis are you using? Rubberized or bone chilling aluminum?

I didnt weigh it but it would go right around 12 pounds im thinking it was surprisingly light due to the heavy flutes and manners stock

It’s an mdt lss, came 1 lb 13 oz, Henry Rempel milled 7 oz out of it for me. Then slabbed the Howa mini action and fluted the bolt, hollowed the bolt handle which dropped another 3 oz out of it. Currently the action has the factory 22” #2 barrel, should be almost same for same when the 24” carbon sendero goes on. If you run some talleys and lighter butt stock options with a Leupold it will be 7 lbs all up. Just waiting on the barrel.

Currently without the butt stock, rings or scope it’s at 5 lb 2.5 oz.

So that’s chassis, action and magazine, grip. Barreled action is now 3 lb 7.5 oz, grip 2.5 oz, magazine is 2.5 oz.
