Arrow Lower Kananaskis Info

I'll be taking the boat out to k-country this weekend to try some bull trout fishing in the lower kan. Havn't ever specifically targeted bullies but I hear they are a lot like pike. What kind of depth is best to troll at? Any info on lures, spots, or techniques is greatly appreciated! Hope to have some pics to post come sunday!

You should double check the level of the lake.... recently it has been so low that launching a boat may be difficult, if not impossible.

As for fishing for the Bulls in Lower Kananaskis, I've had good luck fishing streamers on the bottom with fly gear, and I've seen guys do well fishing the bottom with jigs on spinning gear.

Hit up Lower Kan pretty much all day saturday, and fishing was SLOW... tried everything in every depth of water but just couldn't get any bullies to bite... had a few rainbows follow us in and that was about all the action we saw... we did see deer, sheep, moose, a bald eagle, and a grizzly... still a great time, with great weather. Anyone else give it a shot?

Lower Kan is pretty low, the boat launch seems to go on forever though... I had no problem launching my 14' Lund.

Both lakes are very low, as of last sunday. No problem launching on lower k but upper k launch is no good.
