I wonder how many years before these morons realize what a colossal amount of damage they have done to the western world by being overly sensitive douches?

The victim mentality, once well rooted, is a useful tool for politicians.

Default Mark Twain

I guess we have heard the last of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. My great grand father was right about the well meaning, that is for sure.

Can you guys refrain from using "the" in a sentence; it offends me. Also words containing "the".
THEir
THEre
hypoTHEtical
Those are only examples, many others exist.

Samuel Clemens' (a.k.a. Mark Twain's) works have stood the test of time, but he's been branded as a racist many times in the past because of the words and phrases he used to properly depict the times of his youth (mid 1800's). Truth be known, he was as anti-slavery and anti-racist as they come ... his only crime was to tell the truth about how it really was back then. A clear-cut case of 'shooting the messenger' if you ask me!

Personally, I have a great fear of this 'political correctness' trend that's building in our society ... mostly because there a far too many people who bow to it, or who can't be bothered to fight it.

Who was it who said; "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

thanks. Obviously, I agree.

Schools are the WORST for this. Way too many rules and censorship going on.

I love the song "mother" by pink floyd, I think it perfectly illustrates overprotection. At some point, you just gotta take off the training wheels and introduce a kid to the real world. They're going to see it eventually.

Hey! Don't you know that the existence of a trigger warning could be traumatic to someone who was involved in a shooting or heard about one in the news or something? You can't use that term!

I'm afraid it's become worse than that ^

It's beginning to be woven into the very fabric of our society.
