I stopped this summer at a golf/rv resort just south of New Norway (hwy 21 south of the city near Camrose). Beautiful looking lots in there, with 3 golf courses, restaurant etc.. on site. Rates for the lots seemed reasonable and best of all its only about an hour and ten minutes south of the city. Sorry I don't remember the name of the place, but it is on the West side of the highway right near New Norway. Hope this helps.

Predator, its Silver Creek golf course, and it is a 27 hole course, with the latest nine opening just last year...Young course, but well managed, and has incredible potential in the near future.

I found a place on Gull that is selling r.v. lots, the cheapest being $120,000 or so after all the taxes and other costs. Certainley not in my price range but if you want to check it out the website is...

Good luck, we are looking as well.

Depending on what you are looking for, there are several in the Edson,Hinton,Whitecourt area's.One of the best outlet's for this,is to stop at an Info booth and pickup an Alberta Camping guide booklet. This will have all(mostly)the Rv parks, campgrounds and amenities in it.You can usually get them for BC to,if that's in your plans.

Crestliner;
Faust AB on Slave lake is only 2.5 hrs from town and there are lots available in the Hill & Hollow campsite on strawberry creek just outside of town. Awsome fishing and beautiful countryside in the area...Phone: 780-355-2225 Ask for Ed or Denise they are the owners.

Default Cattail Cabins & RV Park, Faust & Joussard

You might want to check out Cattail Cabins in Faust for cabins or Cattail Campground in Joussard for seasonal lots for the right kind of family. There are a few seasonal lots available most years. The lots are fairly large and have trees usually on three sides. We are approximately a 3 hour drive north of Edmonton.

The fishing is phenomenal. The fall hunting and recreational opportunities for people who like to quad or snowmobile is fantastic. It's a recreational paradise up here!

Copenhagen Kid nailed it, this place is called Silver Creek. I checked it out this summer, there is about a 3 year wait to get in.

Default seasonal rv lots

You could also try at Mulhurst...not sure what is for sale there this year but you could check em out. Right on the Pigeon Lake Golf Course and of course Pigeon Lake is right across the road...general store, hotel, everything within walking distance no matter where you are in the park. Downside is that all the lots are taken up,but there is always some for sale every year as people move on.

You can try Floatingstone Lake. I have a lot there, quiet most of the time. 2 lots sold last year 1/2 acre $29k to $32k. 1 hr & 45 mins from Edmonton. A guy out of St. Pual rents lots for $2k a year & never has an empty one come summer. His lots are 1/2 acre & sceptic, no power or water.

Are you looking for just a lot or one with extras? Have one for sale with 24' fifth wheel plus 4 sheds and large wood shed with huge fire pit. Lot is at Lake Isle.

This is an old thread that has recently been resurrected but I'll add my two cents.

Lakeview Campground.........Lac Ste Anne

My lot is a little less that $2K/year and it includes power, sewer, water, shower/washroom facilities and a spot on the pier (tenants have to put in and take out the pier each year). There are lots that have 50 amp service and deep water for winter use. They cost more........$2.5K/year I think. Owner lives right on the property and is a great guy! Family friendly and the best bargain that you'll find anywhere close to Edmonton.

Default RV lot

What are your interests, how many people, what services do you need, any dogs? What time of the year will have most useage?
Maybe I could let you use a spot by a small lake or along the river on the farm.

Check out Shadybrook campground at Seba Beach. Very well taken care of, onsite water, power and septic(no dragging around a tote somewhere to empty your trailer tanks) Fair amount of rules but everything else is worth it. 3 min walk to the beach. Shower Buildings(always clean) and laundry. Big sites. Ive been there 3 years and love it. I live in s.e. edmonton and with the henday can be there in 50 mins to an hour depending on traffic.

Another possibility is Burnt Birch Trailer Association on the southeast shore of Pigeon Lake. The lots are purchased, with varying amounts of improvements depending on the lot. The property is open for member use year round. It's a gated community that features a year round onsite park manager for maintenance and security, a dredged boat launch and pier, large playground, sandy beach area, boat storage, picnic areas, etc. All lots have 30 amp service and potable water, and most have septic tanks. If you're interested, check out www.burntbirch.com
Been there for 13 years now, and still love it.

Jim
