This site is absolutely the best source for gaining knowledge from real life sportmen, fishing the same lakes, using the same gear etc... that is available out there. The information and tips from other guys has been quite helpful to me. I can say that despite being an avid sportsman, with years of experience, I'm constantly learning something on the AO forum.
The opportunity to share information, tips and network with other members is what keeps many of us coming back for a look.
Like with any public forum, there are your share of antagonists, who bring out the worst in us sometimes, but the mods do a pretty good job of getting thier number and taking action when things get silly. It does, however, add some entertainment sometimes.
Overall, this site sets the benchmark for me and the other forum members that I know -lot's to gain from the forum.
PS - we are on here all the time and there has been a few times we "call each other out" (when posting something from our desks during work hours when we are supposed to be working). lol. That proves the point.
