New Boots For The Quad
I have had it with the trail tires on my machine. On the dry trail or hard pack they are great and have worn well.
But last year in Drayton Valley the treads filled up with mud and the tire effectively went bald!
Do any of you fellers run mud tires on your iron horses? Any opinions? I am currently looking at mudlites, mudbugs or mudzillas. I don't care about cost too much, I just want the best tire I can get.
A penny for your thoughts gentlemen.

I have mudlites on my Honda 500 with around 1800 km and not much wear yet. I will put Mudlites on again, good traction in snow, mud and I haven't had a flat yet.

Right now it is looking like Mudlites for me, they seem to be easy to get around here and pretty much standard.
The guys at the Outlaws quad club are speaking highly of Mudzillas too.
It's a tough topic with no real consensus. Everybody has something different and they all swear by what they buy.
Thanks for the pics guys. I am going nuts in anticipation of mud season. While the foolish women folk go to the day spa and pay hundreds of dollars to get a mud mask done, I go out in the spring and get a dose of the cool, refreshing mud all over my face for free!
Have any of you fellas ever changed a belt? I am doing one tomorrow and keeping the old one for a spare.

We've run mud lites for the past 4 years on 3 Suzuki 700s, and my next bike will have them as well Last year was the first flat, but we were up and running 20mins later thanks to a cheap plug kit. The radials definitely ride better on hard packed road, but cost more as well.
Have seen guys running mudzillas who love them too; all I know is they sure do chew up the trail fast.

I'd go with the Mud-Bugs out of the choices you listed. Great in the mud and wear very well.

We run Kenda Bear Claws on all of our Atvs. They seem to do the trick.

26" 589's from ITP are a little agressive but still a decent all around tire. Have had them on my 04 660(686) Grizzly and now on my 07 700 and they wear real well.

BSL enterprises in the Crowsnest Pass. I was in there a couple weeks ago, and got a quote on tires for my quad. I was interested in the Kenda Bearclaws, so that's what I priced out. (obviously)
For the 26-9-12 I was told $68.76/each. For the 26-12-12 the price came to $89.56 each. Total for the 4...$316.64 plus gst of 15.83. Grand total of $332.47.
oh yeah, forgot to mention, that was including installation as well. 2 days later I was back getting them put on my machine. Price quoted was price paid.
Their # is (403) 563-3069 Closed Sundays and Mondays.
