If I were a betting man I would say 26-27 inches tops and not a ounce over 6lb. It's held out really far. .. look at his hand on the tail. Also I fish that lake a lot. ... I could be wrong though.. i don't gamble

Binnzer, now that you mention that I think your right on the money! still a nice fish, gotta give a fellow walleye slayer some credit. I think we may all be a little guilty of holding the fish out towards the camera a bit How do you know what lake it was from? didn't see anything in the post. Here is a pic of my PB this year (open water) 75cm 10.5 lb Edmonton area. Keep the pictures coming!!!

How do you get the fish to hold straight out like that, with 1 hand to boot ! Yur awesome !!

LoL,

Yea kind of a goofy picture, I grabbed him under the gills with one hand (cant really see it) and spun him around...definitely not one of my best fish holds!!!

Nice buddy. ...i know the lake from the scenery back drop and the coloring of the fish. ..

Thanks Binnzer! Good on you for recognizing the lake! Hope most people are throwing the big ones back to ensure the fishery stays good for years! I love catching the linkers but it always feels good to watch them swim away to be caught another day!
