Looking for a newer truck

I find that I am in need of a new truck - new to me that is.

I am going to be looking for a 4x4 extra cab with towing package, Maybe around 10 years old at the most.

Does anyone have any strong opinions one way or another about a dealership in the Edmonton area? I was thinking about heading down to the Wetaskiwin area today - is it as good as they advertise?

Should be able to find some good lease turn ins right now. Only a few years old.

Check out the auctions! Lots of repos coming in and it's going to get way worse, which depresses the truck market. You can get some really awesome deals there for sure!

Lots of good deals out there. I just picked up a 2006 dodge laramie 1500 with tow package in mint condition 185 k . Got it for $6 k. Saw lots like it when I was looking!!

Where were you looking? Did you go to dealers, kijiji, Auto trader?

Just on kijjiji and hit a few of the dealers. There was lots out there and everybody wanted to deal!!

You did damn good. I just got back from visiting three dealers and there wasn't much available for twice the price. And they weren't willing to dicker at all.

The dealerships north of the kia dealership on the west end of edmonton will move quite a bit on there trucks. Have cash in hand and if they give you the" no way can we do that price" walk out . You wont make it 15 feet!! They will deal! !

I will go in that area tomorrow or the next day.

Of the three I went to today - I was ready to pay cash but they all seemed to want me to finance. I guess I am to "old school"

When they say are you financing just say lets figure out the price first! It takes time but you will get your price.
