Default Ice Fishing for Walleye

Ice fishing is just around the bend. What are some good tips for taking walleye throughout the winter?

These are good questions! Looking to get back into Ice Fishing this winter, as well!
Never fished for wall-eye! I hope they like Red Devil's because I have a tackle box full of them (Rainbow Trout slayer for many years!)

you might catch walleye with a red devil in the summer but chances are slim in the winter. They can get pretty finnicky in the winter months

salmo chubbydarters fished suspended over structure.
Work great at early ice....this year i want to improve so i dont rely on meat after first ice.....sadly i fear i dont have enough years left to become good at late ice hard bait eyes....should of started 20 years ago.

What depth would we be looking at here? 30 ft of water while they are suspended at 15ft? or are we looking at less then that?
