Pigeon Lake report

Well, dock was in last weekend. Went out last two weekends, and have been fishing there for many years, but have never seen it as slow as this year. From the looks of everyone else, we weren't the only ones. Filled our B tags---not very fat--but very healthy. Any idea why the action is so slow? Usually early on is the best action.

The fly hatch usually coincides with slower fishing.

Were you fishing at the drop off or did ya explore the lake a bit. People I know that fished on Sunday did really well.

Just kinda stuck around the hole. Taking son and his buddy out tomorrow--(his 13 yr old buddy has NEVER been fishing!)--hopefully they wake up a bit

Pigeon normally wakes up when the fuzz flies in July.
Before that its maybe 5 walleye in 4 fours.
But what do i know

June, not July.

Its just starting now , give it a few weeks july will be full of fluff
