Default Whitefish on shore

Are there any lakes were you can catch whitefish from shore this time of year?

nope they can be in a few inches of water. same with first ice on the hardwater season. i like skinny silver spoons. and orange and yellow wire worms

cool, sorry , but I never caught a whitefish before. Can you catch them from the provincial park area?

ive even caught whitefish using jigs well pike fishing at wabamun, what a blast to catch

At the boat launch at the govt . Campground , there is a sign posted that says " no fishing from shore " . We saw it in august when we were up there fishing !

What about near lac la biche/ beaver? Would they also be in the sandy shallows?
