Default Lake X brookies!!

Me and buddy were up north for a hunting trip for bear. Well we were hiking around scouting out some new areas when we came upon a lake. It was small and had a small creek going out of it. I said to my buddy theres gotta be fish in here!

Well we came back and this time with fishing rods in hand and we started fishing. We had a blast at lake X and will likely be back for more!

Because of where it is and a good group of people know damn well what lake it is. The point is for you to not know what lake it is. Lol.

This is one of those ask too many questions and you'll end up waking up in the middle of the night with a black bag being slipped over your head.

Hahaha

We didn't keep any because we weren't sure if this lake had limits or anything. So it was all C&R.

find out which zone your fishing according to the alta fishing regs. in the front of each zone it says for lakes and streams not listed, the regulations are as follow: and then wutever the general regs are for waters not listed.

I thought the brookies in that lake were alot bigger then that. I guess I mite as well stick to the brookies I fished last winter.

I don't think it is worth the trip up there for me to catch brookies that size when I can spend $0.50 for a round trip to much bigger brookies.

Except for a size limit in some flowing waters...There is no place in Alberta were you can't keep Brook trout..It may be 2 or maybe 5..
