Default Fishing over at Prince's Island park?

Hey!

I'm thinking about going over and checking out The portion of the River that Runs Around and Through Prince's Island park.

Have any of you guys hit up that park before? I Cycled up there a few times last summer and always saw a couple of people around my age with poles and now I'm kind of curious.

But, besides ducks and what not I've only ever seen minnows in the portion of the River that runs in between the park and the city.

Is there anything living in it's lagoon big enough to fish?

I'm sure there's fish there, but there is pretty good fishing closer to your house.

You can see what appear to be suckers hanging out where the water flows into that pond. In general the water is pretty stagnant there. I think you might have better luck casting into the main river channel.
