Cool Fishing Panorama Area

Hey everyone,

Im looking at going out to Panorama bike park for a weekend and im just wondering what there is for fishing in the area? I've tried google searching but so far haven't come up with anything very relevant. Im not picky about species, i'll fish for anything. Im just looking for a place within about 20 minutes of Panorama Mountain Village where i can catch a few fish. C&R is fine by me.

Tight lines!

I was out there camping this week. After you go through invermere... there is a bowling pin on the left of the road. If you take that turn (towards the pin) , you come to the base of a mining road. Turn right (through a dirt parking lot onto a paved road) and go up about 5 minutes, road will change from pave to dirt, you'll see a left side pullout area. Little creak there that goes up to a mountain spring and pond, cross the little plank bridge, and head up the path about 5 minutes. Was sitting there (cliff jumping on the other side) and watched fish jump all day, its VERY deep, very cold water, with about 3-6ft of shallow on the sides.
