Default Removing Stuck Chuck From a Milwaukee M18 Drill

Can anyone offer advice on how to remove a chuck from a Milwaukee M18 drill/driver? The screw won't budge that holds the chuck (clockwise turn). I suspect there's Loctite holding it in place. Tried WD40 with no luck. Is heat from a small torch a good idea? I don't want to melt any plastic parts or ruin the motor. Or, a tap with a hammer? Thanks all.

Use an impact driver.
It's a heavey duty screw driver type tool that twists while you smack the end with a hammer.

Stick a hot soldering iron on the screw to be removed. Apply heat for a minute then try it. Trial and error.....heat is to break the Loctite bond before causing screw to expand.

If its this one, good luck. Maybe tap the chuck towards the motor to release a tiny bit of preasure off the screw.

Check this out also.

I was able to get the stuck bit out of mine by carefully (if it's possible) tapping the bit with a hammer. Then I was able to pull it free with vise grips.
