Default Perch tactics

Wondering if anyone has any tips for my first time targeting perch. I know no-one wants to give up their sweet spot so just some advise. I'll be fly fishing and any advise would be great thanks in advance

Toughest part about perch fishing is finding out where they are hiding sometimes.

I think the best thing I've found is a tiny micro jig with a little pinch of bait (maggots, mealworms, small minnows, red worms) and get it under a bobber.

If you are over deeper water, or through the ice, jigging a small rattlin' flyer is awesome. You can also tip it with bait.

Thanks, ya I haven't had any luck for perch this year on my fly rod. Seems like most lakes have just been decimated for perch
