Default Fishing for lake whitefish and perch?

Hello,

I'm takin the new boat down to Christina lake in a few days, it's my first time on the lake and was wondering what some of the best way to target lake whitefish and perch would be, seeing as you can't keep any walleye.

Thanks.

I'd think perch of any size would be hard to find in that lake with all the large pike and walleye. I've seen small ones in the shallows around beaver houses

Low light, evening or at night a simple 1/4 oz wt, 24" to a hook and a small minnow slowly dragged on the bottom...Whites slurp it up along with Walleye and the occasional Jumbo! Go too rig when everyone wants a fish fry!

Hey thanks for the tip on your rig Moefoe! It has given me a great idea to incorporate in to a new stealthy presentation technique I have been trying to come up with and solve!
