wanted: Spent bullet casings
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for some bullet casings, base metal, to recycle into jewellery.
As always, in trade for donations I am offering some of my handmade jewellery for you (or your sweet heart).
I can pick up in Calgary.
Please inbox me if you have any casings you're looking to get rid of.
Thanks,
Jody

Take a little drive in the country. Drive out to the Homestead public range and you can get all the brass you want.

Yup, there's enough brass on the ground ^ at the Homestead Range to start a small open-pit brass mine.
Best get there before the snow flies!

spent casings
I have about 50 .270 casings and a couple dozen nickel .243 casings you can have. I am in Edmonton though.
I no longer have these calibers if you have a way of picking them up?

Do your friend a favor and don't ask ... you're at least a week too late
The brass will still be there (Homestead Range), but by now it will be covered with snow. And with this warming trend, the ground (and brass) will most likely be turned into a slushy-mucky mess.

Always looking for brass - especially looking for .45mm and any other pistol brass or nickel casings.
Can trade finished jewellery/credit towards items I make ( www.facebook.com/jlpdesigns)

Nice. I was actually expecting earrings made with shell casings, but those pendants are neat. I also really like the brass leaf earrings...

Thanks Molly!
I do make some earrings with the 7mm but they can be heavy. Also introduced some .223 with neon tips for Christmas (photos are shown as pendants) they're surprisingly light
Feel free to like the page and contact me if you see anything you'd like to trade for casings! every two weeks I have transportation (I don't drive) we could always make a trip near longview on a weekend!

In the summer I regularly shoot .40 S&W pistol rounds with nickel plated cases, as well as brass case 5.56 (.223), and brass case .308.
I don't reload any of them, and usually just recycle them in the metal scrap bins at work (Minus the .308, which I've kept some of). If you're still doing this next spring, I'd be happy to keep them for you.

My wife made a lot of earrings and pendants over the years. We used to give them as prizes at the IPSC matches for the ladies division, along with their trophies.
My daughter wore them a lot. Even graduated with a pair of nickel 9mm earrings and matching pendant.

Some members here may be interested in having you match up their brass with elk ivory(s) into a momento
