Default Bird taxidermy $$$$

I'm thinking of getting a Mallard done. I'm thinking a flying pose. What should expect I to pay?

sorry but this is the wrong way to find a Taxidermist.
Taxidermy mounts are not like buying a TV so you pick the model and look for who sells it cheaper.
you are buying someone's skills, knowledge, and artistic ability.
You will get what you pay for.
Im sure if you try hard, someone will do it for 175… but then you will be happy only that much. I have seen people pick up a mount from a Taxidermy shop and are embarrassed to show it off to their friends.

Check out local Taxidermy places, since some have price sheets right online.

Again, as mentioned above; you are paying for the skill but just like anything else there are places that just over charge so do some good research.

Also if you are looking for flying poses expect to pay 10-30% extra over standard rate.

My value is a bit old. Didn't realize things had gone up that much!

Mine (owl) was quoted at $500.

Of course, 2 years and I have still not gotten it back, so free for now I suppose.
