I guess i left myself wide open for that one
I was on the river all day and didn't see any ice
What I meant was do they migrate or something
like that

From what I've been told about sturgeon, once it starts to get cold they tend to migrate to 'deeper water'...whatever/wherever that may be

Most of the river systems for the South like the Red Deer, Bow, Old man all tie into the South Sask River which then goes into Diefenbaker. The North Sask river eventually head into Tobin. Although there maybe some local fish, but the majority of them migrated back into the Lakes.

Naw Like Terry says , some will migrate to Tobin , or Diefenbaker . But you'll of course get some that hang around and stick to deep holes . But yes Goldeye Migrate , Not sure where they go , I think probably the same places as said above . Sturgeon are a pretty neat creature , I have not heard of anyone catching then around here since September . So I figure they've headed to where there going , and it doesnt matter anyway , as there is ICE FLOWING DOWN THE NORTH SASKATCHEWAN RIVER .
