Hey BadJohn ,I am in the same position as you ,as I have 2 high end knifes that the fishing hole sales and they don't hold edge after filleting across the rib cage.
I was think of picking up a cordless electric filleting knife just for doing the first 2 to cuts and then finshing off with other knifes.
Then I said no .Thats 2 blades on the cordless that have to come apart and get cleaned plus your Rapala .Then you have to charge battery if I didn't forget the first time.

I am going to get the Cotco...one knife to clean and carry .
and I heard the knife pulls out of the handle for cleaning larger fish and it holds an edge !

Where can I get one in town ,anyone ?

go to www.cutco.ca and if you find the contact info theres a place in the city and one of the fella's on here is going to start selling them aswell .
