Don't give up John, you'll get one of those big cats I know you will. You just have to work those frogs harder big man.

Oh, what the hell are you going to be keeping them in overnight at your hotel?

Hahahahhahaha ok ladies , I mean folks getting a guide payed off . Cost me 200 bucks which I figure was cheep . We caught around 20 Walleye , and id say just as many Goldeye and 3 Master Cats , I wasnt worried about pictures about the Walleye and goldeye just wanted pictures of the Cats . I caught 2 master cats 37 inches , weighing 25 pounds , and the 3rd was 39 inch Master Cat weighing 29 pounds Man I am in love with this catfishing game , I recomend it to anyone who is a serious fishermen , and its well worth the 200 dollers.I will give you the guys name if your interested .Also have his number . We were watching all the others around me and there was only 1 other boat that caught 2 small cats not nearly as big as ours . Hope you guys enjoy the pictures . My blood is still pumping MAN IM EXCITED WOOOOOOOOO.

Well theres a wicked story behind it and not to mention every 2nd cast getting caught up and ither getting snagged or anything but a Catfish . We actually caught the cats in a fast moving water area in whirl pools , not sure what the technical term is but Id call them a whirl pool anyway used our fresh cut Goldeye as bait and yeah . Man Im still shaking I will guarantee ill be dreamin cat fish tonight . Bring heavy heavy gear guys ither that or just get a guide , as they know the spots . Said it was rare to get 3 very large master cats over 37 inches in a day . And In all honesty I thought we were going to catch anything other then walleye and goldeye , I guess we werent in the right spots for rock bass. Had alot of fun watching the pelicans eatting the fish coming threw the water gates . Im pumped .

awesome man! the kitties always fight harder in the current. too bad my manitoba/NW ontario trip is next week. i got smallies, kitties, crappies, and hopefully jumbo drum on my list as always. the walleyes and sauger are for meals, and goldeye for cutbait.

i wish you the best on the remainder of your trip, and a safe drive home.

now get more pics up!

Awesome cats BBJ good to see your guide money was not a waste. Man you are so lucky to be out there. i think that the dierty water in the river is the reason the fishing is so slow for you by yourself probably of that dock in the second set of pictures. I wish I could come meet you next weekend for a day at Pigeon. Are you still headed out to BC in August. I am headed out to a cabin on Columbia Lake just outside Fairmont BC from August 1st to the 4th. Hope you are heading out there at that time so we can meet up for a day.

Awesome job BBJ the Kitties!! Don't forget to mail in your Entry Forms for the qualifying Cats. Too bad you didn't hook into 2 more qualifiers and that would made you a " Channel Cat Specialist". You would get another Certificate and a Medal that says Channel Cat Specialist. You'll just have to go back this year again as you got the license for the year....
Were the Drum, Goldies, Rock Bass, and Eyes qualifiers? If so, then you would qualify for a Master Angler Award( 5 Different Species) and Badge!

It's nice to have something to remind you of your trip. Everytime you look at the Certficates, it reminds you of the awesome fish you caught there.
When I there for the five days, I managed to get 16 Certicates, one Manitoba C&R Patch, and 3 Badges !!
Awesome Job on the 3 Qualifying Cats in one day, and thanks for sharing your Trip with us!!!

Default Cats Big Time

Hey way to go John ....Those are beauties ....
I see you were right up there in what we used to
call the cesspool . Who ever referred to the water
as dirty doesnt recognise pristine wilderness when
he sees it... How big were the walleyes ....

Remember to sanitize your equipment before you head back to Gods country ...
Good Pics...

A 34" Greenback could be pushing 14lbs.. Good eyes

When you finalize the dates for K-Country, let me know. If you're gonna be there for a week, I should be able to sneak out for a visit. Are you going to be camping?

Right on BBJ get those big walleye pics on here. That size of a walleye is a once in a lifetime catch, sure sounds like you had a good day on the water.
Those cats are pretty sweet I've never caught any but been told that they fight like crazy so maby next year for me.
