Default Info on Catfish tournament Selkirk Manitoba.

The first inaugural “Manitoba Catfish Invitational” will run this year at Selkirk Manitoba, CANADA from August 6th through August 8th, 2010. As part of Manitoba’s Homecoming 2010 Celebrations, we’ll be offering some amazing cash prizes – and anyone can win that participates in the Tournament. For instance, our first prize is $20,000! Second prize is $10,000 and so forth – all the way to the top 15 entries!

To be a part of this – and guarantee your place in this tournament for next year and every year, simply go to our website and fill in our registration forms – it’s located at www.manitobacatfish.com . The entry fee per boat (2 fishermen per boat) is $500 – substantially below the $800 or $1,000 that most tournaments charge!

So mark it down, sign yourself up – and get planning for this first ever – MANITOBA CATFISH INVITATIONAL – The Tournament of Champions. For more information on the tournament if you’d rather talk to someone, call 1.204.482.7176.

Thanks so much for your time, and have a GREAT summer!!!

That portion of the Red River is truly a remarkable fishery. You can literally catch 20 pound plus cats all day long steady. With the chance of landing a 100 pound plus Sturgeon. And not to mention the legendary green back Walleyes that lurk in those waters right into Lake Winnipeg.
