Question Ice fishing tourney, license???

Does anyone know if you need to have some sort of license to hold a tournament down in the Lethbridge area and if so where does one get one. Someone was saying that is depends on how many people attend, others say that it depends on if you charge to enter and if there are prizes or something. Can anyone help me out.

Thanks.

What lake and what time of year are you planning to hold this tourney? I may be able to get you some help from some of the SAWT guys from lethbridge. Let me know and I will see what I can do.

They may know how to get a tourney license easier and give tips on how to set it up and stuff like that. Also Mark H on here may be able to give you some tips since I know he set up an open water tourney a few years ago at ridge.
