Default Jasper the Bear

Wasnt in Jasper 10 minutes and what do we see? A young black bear wandering across the highway and into a yard on Patricia street! Watched him climb and start eating something in a maple tree. Called the wardens and he got there a few minutes later, shot it a couple times with bb gun to get it moving. Got a couple pictures but not sure how to post from my phone.

Cool stuff!

If you download the photobucket app, it's really easy to add photos and then post the image link to the board. Love to see em!

You have to love Jasper for bears.

You know the Grizzly exhibit at the Provincial Museum of Alberta.

Well, Once upon a time Mr. Grizzly bear was wandering around the cemetary at Jasper. Must have loved the smell of a fresh dead person.

Anyways, a beautiful Kenworth truck came rolling down around the corner on Highway 16 and Mr. Grizzly decided to stand up on the highway.

Well boys and girls, You can see the rest of the story the next time your teacher takes you to the museum.

I was working at the museum when the hide was sent to New York for a full body preparation.
