Default PB white!

Ahhhhhhhhhhh Pigeon. Good to see some whites coming out of there...especially on my hook.

A banner morning had with 2 whites landed - a new personal best at 24 inches and 5.6 lbs followed up with her slightly smaller sister at 23 inches and 5.0 lbs.

Nice fish! Were you in shallow or out deep? I always here about fishing whites out deep in the middle bouncing bottom with a kastmaster or sore something flashy. Never tried it. Guessing white numbers will be increasing now that netting is done and in a few years we might get into some good whitey action! Thanks for the pics!

4.5 lb white from Gull is tank in my books. I haven't got one that big there yet. Good on you

Thanks all...and Trav

Kept one for supper for fresh eating. Best white recipe hands down:

http://www.greatlakeswhitefish.com/i...sted-whitefish

Got the shredded potato and fresh dill...

The smaller fatter one is headed for the smoker.

Commercial fishers are still waiting to be dealt with, until we are anything is possible. If commercial fishing is over for good I hope that sport fishers will get good at catching whites. Whitefish numbers need to be kept in balance for the good of the lake.
