When using a mobile device, phone or tablet, When you click on the search button...off to the side (sometimes out of window even, you might have to "zoom out") you'll notice a pop-up search window that will contain an "advance search" link. Click on THAT, and it will open up a second, dedicated advanced search window. Then you can use it normally.
You might have to click again after you zoom out to see that window. It sometimes disappears when you touch outside that window.
