Default Washouts In The West Country

Looks like the June monsoons are here.

1) Chungo road washed out.
2) Hummingbird road washed out.
3) YaHa Tinda road washed out.

I,m sure it just a matter of time for the Trunk road at the Ram Falls rec area to give way.

Not totally sure on the km markers but with another 40mm or more coming this weekend..... does not look good for the Sask drainage system for a while. Oh we'll.... put and takes here I come.

Was out that way yesterday. Trunk road had several small washouts but the main area of concern would be a spot near the water valley turn off as there was a large amount of water starting to come over the road where a culvert could no longer handle the volume.

Yes, our weather stations in the Red Deer drainage showed around 110mm in 36hrs. Combine that with the increased melt due to the rain fall and we are talking some serious water in a short period of time.

I was going to head to the north ram next weekend.
I hope the rain eases up by then.
I know this week and weekend it's supposed to rain lots.
