Unfortunately I recently ran into an issue with my Jiff, so I know about Jiffy warranty service (really good here in Calgary) and their coverage (1yr-2yr-3yr). However, I know nothing about ESKIMO augers. My brother is wanting to get one here soon, and was looking at the ESKIMO coverage. All it has is a 1 yr "limited" warranty?!? Is it because it's a superior product or because they last a year and a half? Where would one get warranty work done in Calgary? or Alberta?
Any info or first hand experience with Eskimo warranty issues and service would be appreciated.

I've got Ritchie to tune-up my STX and no complaints. He was originally setup as a small Engines repair. Picked up Roggies Rod and Reel repairs and keeps really busy.. He doesn't have enough time to get out and fish
My dad had some warranty work done on a generator from Ritchie in Airdrie. He was INCREDIBLY happy with the service and work he did. If he does work for eskimo, eskimo owners should be happy. I'll call this afternoon. Thanks
This is my third year with my eskimo Costco special and have not had a single issue. Fires up 1-3 pull and have no complaints at all. It's a 1.2HP and I know friends have had problems when you get into the 3.0 with other brands.

Costco doesn't list Eskimos on their website. What model do they carry, and what do they charge? I don't have a membership, but I think my brother does.
