Just got back from Severn Dam... Not even a bite.

Went to severn today and set up over by the boat launch right off the dam, I did not even see any fish the whole day! Where are the best spots/ baits for this lake?

lost a nice rainbow there on a tube jig with a worm a few years ago . power bait also worked back then . across from the launch if I remember right . west side of lake

Haven't ever ice fished out there but those rainbows sure are fun to catch in the summer.

I use to fish the West shore about 1/3 of the way down the lake. There was a very small point that was about 5' deep and 12' of water on both sides. This was a good spot and because this was a little bit of a walk no one came over there. Best fishing was when there was early ice and it gets slower as the winter progresses.

Tried Ice fishing out there a couple of times last season and found it slow both times also. Between myself and my partner we managed only 3 fish in 2 trips.
