Default Newest family member!

Hey all,

Just adopted my newest family member. It took almost a year of trying to find it. After emailing and calling numerous shops around canada I was able to find this gem at reliable guns in Vancouver. After debating to buy a browning Xbolt or a tikka t3, I picked the tikka. More or less because I wanted a stainless steel with a synthetic stock and browning did not offer it in a left handed model. I did not settle, this was the one I wanted. It's a left handed tikka t3 308win that's wearing a leupold vx3 4.5-14 cds scope with dnz one piece mount. I love it so far and hoping to take it out this weekend to fire form some brass so that I can start working out some hand loads.

Kevin

And the bolt is on the correct side.

Very nice, and I approve of your choice in optics. I had one in 30-06 a few years back, real tack drivers.

Nice. My first rifle I bought after the mandatory 22 is the same type but in 270. Great rifle. Still have it. I shoot left as we'll. keep us posted on its shooting.

Very, very nice! Why the DNZ mount? Your other thread was leaning to Tallys. I am a fan of the DNZs but those Tallys look pretty interesting.

I was leaning towards the tallys but I wasn't able to find them for a tikka in Calgary but I did find the dnz mounts. I mean I could have waited and paid shipping to get them here, but was impatient. Now that I have mounted the dnz mounts, I really like how it looks and you never know it may be what I was looking for in the first place. If they fail, which I don't think they will, I could always try the tallys next time.

As soon as I get some time off work I'll be going to the range, I can't wait to shoot it. I will definitely post some pics of my groupings when I get back!
