Default My 2017 -year in review

well it all started with a buddies early season elk draw, wish someone would have told the weather man!!!! had fun and shot this bull on our third day.

next trip had us hunting familiar country with a buddy that had a bull moose tag. worked for him on the first day of Rifle.[IMG][/IMG]

Also was drawn with 5 buddies for Mule deer this year. Couldn't pass this guy up on the first day after my buddy said, " he is tooo short". I said but he's got 8 points on the one side man!!!!...... when he passed I stepped up and killed him at 227 yds down hill.[IMG][/IMG]

Last but not least, my bro in law shot this massive WT up north in the Boreal forest. Shot him in the leg and chased him for three days, bumped him 5 times and finally found him dead on day three after bumping him again that morning.[IMG][/IMG]

That's a pretty good season. I think you made a good choice on the mule deer.
