FirstLite sale at JimBows Calgary

I just got off the phone with JimBows Calgary. He says they are having a 40% off sale on firstlite. I havent been there to confirm but it sounds pretty good.

First Lite is moving to all online (their site, amazon, etc) so it's probably to clear out existing stock. I'll have to pop by.

I wouldn't bother. I drove out of my way in October to go see the first lite gear and they had only a handful of tops and no pants. Complete waste of my time

I was in the store in Edmonton today, they only have a few items. A few XL sized items, and a few M sized. And that’s it. All in the ASAT pattern, except for the gaiters, they are the pine colour. Couple jackets, 2 pairs of bibs, a few long sleeve t-shirts, and some extreme weather gloves. That’s about it.

In Calgary mostly ASAT camo. good deal on jacket and pants but most t shirt, longsleeve, and base layer items are in sizes medium and XXL.

Spent a little over an hour at Edmonton location yesterday new sight and serving was slapping arrows together in no time. Not much First lite there though

Not a whole lot of first lite stuff left, they stopped bringing it in because first light is adopting the "direct to customer" route much like Kuiu has. Word is First Lite had too many retailers burning them on orders and too many unpaid bills.

This is too bad, it’s always nice to see a product and try it on before commiting big dollars towards a purchase. I purchased a 3-d leafy suit direct from the ASAT website a few years back. After the exchange rate, customs and what not, it cost me over $250.00. In my opinion, it shouldn’t have had a price tag over $50.00, very unimpressed with the quality of the garment. From then on, I prefer to try before you buy!! Love the ASAT pattern, but it looks like firstlite is dropping it from their line up now that they have their own patterns.
