Default Great week!

So after asking around on the forums here, I have had a great week of fishing thanks to all you guys ! I hit up Wabamun, got a few jacks, went to Jackfish Lake, got 100+ perch and around 12 jacks and walleye, went to pigeon and had a reaal slow day with only 4 fish (still managed a decent 6 pound jack) and I finished it off today with Coal lake. Caught my biggest fish so far, a 15 lbs jack! I'll put up the picture as soon as I get it on my computer.

That being said, I just wanted to say thanks!

Thanks for the replies guys! I definitely got lucky with this guy. I was tryin to find some perch so I was using my little rod with 4lbs test line. Wasnt havin luck with the perch, so for a kick i threw on a husky jerk rapala. 3 casts later i got this guy. No liter either! Fought it for around 15 minutes before grabbing it n pullin it into the boat.

Yes sir, especially when you can see that hook just waiting to slip out. Ah, well at least I landed her.

Anyone know where a good spot for perch is in coal?

Nice fish! I've been fishing coal for a long time and haven't pulled anything out of there THAT big...
And to answer your question, its REALLY hard to find perch in coal, especially in the summer time. I wouldn't recommend wasting time fishing for perch at coal lake. Just my opinion.
