I’ll guarantee you have Lannie.
You know the waters round here better I’ll ever.

But I keep trying.

Full mesh hood and Thermacells for the flies, then yes.

Otherwise, no way in hell! I'm a soft city boy!

I'd fish that anytime. That's 4 times the size of the little rill of a swampy, mosquito, beaver infested bog I fished yesterday. At one point standing waist deep in mud fishing a creek 6" deep and 12" wide. You know its time to leave when you climb up on an old beaver house and it starts to sink under your own weight.

That is the kind of fishing that destroy’s hip waders. Some of the best stream fishing is in these hard to get to places. Yes I would fish it.

Were we on the same creek? This is my absolute dream - fish everywhere they should be, doing exactly what you hope for. Helped a 5 yr old get going and he caught his first ever, a cuttie on the fly. It was solo too, including the cast - found a pool with no trees. He ended up catching at least a half dozen. "Fishing is easy" he said.

Little guy's mom caught one, then more, now wants to go out without her kid so she gets to focus on fishing.

I don’t use waders for small creeks or rivers for this reason, just water shoes and shorts. Always fun getting around places like that, at least we don’t have the devils club as that makes me say no.
