Default Building a Drift boat - Part 3

Its now starting to actually look like a boat. But now the fun begins, as sanding starts. Sanding the epoxy takes slighlty less than forever.

And then more sanding. After sanding, there seems to be more sanding. But once you eye all the joints and screw holes and are happy that there is no noticeable marks, the painting and varnishing begins. I used a marine garde varnish. 8 coats sanded between coats. The bottom of the boat will experience alot of gravel and the occasional sharp rock, so I used a truck bed liner on the bottom and sealed with epoxy.

Man, that's impressive. I just can't wait to see how you deck out that pretty baby.
