Fire bans are off now on the website. Should be good to go with shore lunches! Hardly pumped to go at all! Lol

Well we are back from Cornwall trip, what a great time!! The lakers were tough to find but we did manage to get on to some trolling in 15-20 ft water. We did try jigging for them in deeper water with bondy baits, tube jigs, etc. without success. Thankfully the fire ban was lifted right before we left from Fort Chip on the float plane. As a side note, a group returning from their trip were being raked over the coals by fish and wildlife officers at the Fort Chip airport. Sounded like they had brought a pile of fish back, but didnt leave head/tail intact for size measurements. They probably lost all their fish and faced some fines. Anyways, know your regulations and follow them, you never know when you will be stopped.

For transporting fish & having to be able to measure them, they musta been Jack? There's no size restrictions on Lakers, so would you have to leave head & tail on? as long as you don't skin em, you should be good to go no?

Yea I was thinking that as well. I believe you are correct about fish with no size restraints. As long as you leave skin on it shouldn't matter. Must have been pike.. Anyways it didn't look like a good time, I kinda walked in to the airport waiting area when they were taking ****. Hope everyone has a great time on their trips!!! No real big fish for our group but lots of them caught.
